TheOnlineCo. was approached when this much-loved Australian FMGC Brand was looking to increase brand awareness. Rather than aiming to send viewers to their website, the FMGC engaged TheOnlineCo. to help them increase sales in supermarkets around the country, through a comprehensive digital marketing campaign.
Though the FMCG had previously managed their own Facebook profile and had a fairly comprehensive website, the company had seen minimal results. TheOnlineCo. began managing the FMGC’s Instagram and Facebook accounts through organic posting and low-level community management and creating blog content and newsletter email campaigns.
After one month, the FMCG saw an increase of 1600% in viewership and by the second month, it had increased again by another 100%. The data also provided valuable insights into viewer demographics and what kind of content this specific target group best responded to. Though the campaign is in its infancy, the FMCG has already received 181 000 views and 800 engagements on Facebook. Brand awareness has sky-rocketed and the campaign continues to expand into targeted giveaway promotions and personalised customer interactions.
